I am carrying my cameras with me for 50 years. Of course I tried all sorts of genre, from landscapes to portraits, from macro to nature from street shots to abstracts some good some better, but all in all I am interested in the unguarded moment when the subject is thinking, speaking, dreaming or eating.
These are the most wonderful moments, moments of beauty, reflection or surprising. Sometimes there is a juxtaposition in these moments.
For me it is a slice of life, thin but revealing.
My other side just sees light, colour and texture in interaction. I deconstruct the reality and then reassemble elements enhancing prevalent colours, alter perspectives and mediate it to have an impact. Viewers tell me about their reaction, often matching each others opinion.
